In the United States today there are many people interested in becoming full time alpaca breeders.  Most of these aspiring farmers do not own a farm and many are city dwellers.  Some of these are contemplating a new lifestyle upon retirement or just another great tax advantage.  These future alpaca farmers have three choices:  1) They can wait until they find suitable property and acquire their herd as they make the move to the country or 2) They can begin building a herd today and board the alpacas they acquire with an established breeder or 3) continue to board their animals with an established farm, enjoy farm visits and the terrific tax advantages of ownership without the day to day care of the animals.

At Sueno Lana Alpacas we have plenty of room for your alpacas regardless of your circumstances.  Your alpacas will receive the same consistent care our own herd receives.  We have lots of pasture available, secure fencing and roomy barns.  At Sueno Lana Alpacas our professional management of your animals include:

        1.  Up to date herd and health records

        2.  Regular assessment of weight by scales and hands on
              examinations. Daily contact with farm management.

        3.  Access to our herdsires for breeding

        4.  Annual shearing

        5.  Assistance with halter training and showing your animals
